One-Day Lock Fitting Course

Being a Locksmith is not just about Picking & opening locks. A percentage of a locksmiths work is fitting and/or replacing locks. Learning and using the correct method for fitting each type of lock is essential and good practice for any Locksmith business.

Our One-Day Lock fitting course will teach you the correct way of fitting & replacing Rim night latches, Mortice locks & UPVC door locks, using modern techniques & tools, such as the Mortice Jig - pictured below. All one-day courses are on a one-to-one tution basis.

Course cost: £249.00

Courses run from: 9.30am to 4pm - Week Days

  • Fitting Rim night latch Sets.
  • Replacing Cylinder locks (Yale type locks).
  • Replacing Screw-in-Cylinders.
  • Fitting Mortice lever locks to timber doors.
  • Measuring & replacing UPVC Multi- locking systems.
  • Measuring & replacing Euro and Oval cylinder locks.
