Hi all,

I did my course with Jay last weekend.. I had a real good experience. Learned loads, and realised that some of the stuff I had read and practiced before was s**t!

Loads of practicing still needed, but won't be long until I start working as a lock fettler!

Cheers,

Paul.

I completed a two day course with jay a couple of months ago now,but I would like to say thanks for everything that you showed us on the course it was very "in depth" but easy to go along with.Jay is a very easy going guy who enjoys his job, and very willing to pass on his experience. I looked around and asked questions on other courses all over the country but Island locks kept on popping up I am glad i went with them, and the back up you get is great I have contacted Jay a few times now by phone and he always gets back to me.So its not just do the course then thanks and goodby, the support is always there. I would recommend Island Locks to anybody who is looking for a course. Thanks Again

Having just completed the two day course I can recommend Island Locks to be an excellent provider. Jay is a natural instructor he knows his subject and quickly understands the 'student'. Before choosing Island Locks I surfed loads of locksmith training providers and compared website information, website design, location, costs, future support and general overall feeling of openness and transparency. Island locks ticked all the boxes and I was not disappointed. Only made possible by a very experienced professional like Jay who has obviously made a big investment of money, skill and time to make what is; and will continue to be a top quality provider. I fail to see how any person or company could be disappointed with what’s on offer.

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the opportunity to be educated in the real methods used by a true professional in their chosen vocation.

You showed genuine enthusiasm whilst dealing with novices which was inspirational.

The level of knowledge you display is awesome whilst remaining patient at all times.

Thank you to your wife for the more than ample lunch, especially on Mothers day.

Without doubt I will return for the advanced levels, when I have gained more experience in the methods already taught.

Wishing you continued success, you are a pro.

Kind regards,

Martin Conway.

Just completed the 2 day course and im still a bit shocked at the amount of locks I was able open in such a short space of time. The facilities provided to train in were ideal and the course was delivered in a professional and friendly manner. Jay always makes sure that everybody is ok with the section of the course covered before moving onto the next module. I would advise anybody who is considering taking a course to at least speak to island locks first, the main thing that impressed me with Jay was that he is always prepared to answer your questions honestly and does not try to sugar coat anything you just get straight answers to your questions and he never tries to push you into going on his course but instead just provides you with good advice and allows you to make your own mind up. Cheers Jay and see you in January/February for an advanced course

Hi Jay, thanks very much for al your help on my two day course this week, like pete and the other guys i just want to say that i really enjoyed it and the course content was very informative, well presented and executed, and i would recommend you and your training to anyone who wants to become a locksmith. I will be going live as soon as i have had lots more practice and purchased some more lock picks etc from you, P.S. i am still struggling with those europrofile locks, they just wont budge for me at the mo, lol but i'm no quitter, and i will crack 'em soon. All the best to you and the guys i trained with.. Simon.

Well, 2 day course completed can't praise the effort-content-quality of the instruction that Jay puts into his trainlng courses enough, the two days just flew by. If anybody out there is thinking about training then I would certainly recommend Jay;s course. Unlike various training courses in other industries that I have attended, it was not "pack in as many as we can" just 4 of us so Jay was able to give each one of us plenty of one to one attention when needed, so thanks Jay, will get some practice in then arrange to come on an advanced course!!! Regards, Pete

Having just completed the two day course I wanted to express my thanks and appreciation Jay for the excellent way in which you shared so much in such a short period of time. I have both sat through, and taught, many hours of instruction/teaching over the past decade but this was by far the most enjoyable experience I[ve had. Your presentations were clear and precise and you have certainly inspired me as I look to develop my skills as a Locksmith and it's great to know that you are prepared to help when needed. Thanks for a great course - I look forward to completing the Advanced course in due time. Kind Regards Paul

Hi Jay Still in the learning stages but it's great to have your continual advice on problems encountered. Thanks for the course. The instruction was excellent, as was the contents and equipment. It was an enjoyable weekend. It can be a gamble choosing the right training and Alan and myself were well pleased with the results. We will contact you soon regarding equipment. All the best Martin.

HI Jay, 3 months now since I did the course, and now started off on my own. To anybody interested Jay does an excellent course and takes the time to ensure you understand every part of the course. His advice is well worth listening to..(including the CD and business set up) .I ventured out on my own in May and YES work is slow in coming inbut as he tells you it all takes time. My 1st job was a slight problem but a phone call to Jay and off I went with advice in hand, job done and hopefully a satisfied customer. Thanks again, Mick
