Manual every time. I appreciate that people have their preferences, but I don't rate EPG's at all.

HPC and KLOM EPG for speed in my case. Manual I may as well pull up a chair as I could be clicking for a while.

HPC EPG, then manual pick gun, but I'd always try hand picking as my first option. Just curious, does anyone lubricate the lock before EPGing?

Have 2 x HPC, one is a day to day and the other is a spare, even though neither get that much use. Great to know you have backup if you need it. Would possible have a manual gun, but don't want to have one popeye forearm when I retire!!!!

Personally i think i need some further instructing from Jay on the use of my manual gun as i have never managed to get anything open with it ( i did when i was on the course though!) all of my lock work is done by hand. Am i missing a trick not trying an EPG?

Hand picks first, then the manual gun, then the klom electric and finally the sledge hammer pick. Up gun works fine, the down pick, rarely, the klom not bad on euros, bump keys are quite good on some, the sledge never fails.

I use my manual pick guns much more than the HPC epg I have in my kit box.. I find the manual type work quick enough to keep the punters happy.
