Mmm...... Obviousley no markings to the case or faceplate. Is it the overall size of the lock thats important or the positioning of the latch as well?

Hi Jay, ideally it needs to be as close as possible as they are in metal communal doors and the client doesnt want us to cut a bigger mortice.

Cant find a resemblance from my trawls, as Jay says does it need to be 1 for 1 or can you put a suitable replacement in?

Hi Dean, as long as the door does not need to much altering we will be ok. The client does not want any repair plates on the doors. the doors have a euro single cylinder on the outside and a handle on the inside.

Hello Keith, I was called to a shopping arcade today following an attempted break in and I think the lock there was the same as yours.  Large metal plate for handle on the outside (held on by 4 screws) with a 30/10 single euro opening a latch and a handle on the inside opening the latch, but without a lock.  The lock at mine today was a "format".  Hope it helps.

@Dean, i have just looked on Saundersons website. They do an escape lock that i think may do the job. I will call them tomorrow. Any other suggestions as to a perfect match most welcome.

@Keith,  Just been looking through a copy of the Dg supplyline cat and found a Union JL2249 euro sash case, which is also close to the measurements by mm. link below , if that is off any use and that they still do them.
