Hi I have just got a 2 in 1 pick but as a general rule is there any set height that the legs should be?

Thanks

Hi Lee the two in one picks do come in different gauges, but the upstand height I think comes as a standard,I dont know the measurement but mine have fitted all the 3-5 lever non curtained locks, after you have filed down any warding around the keyway

Most common guage picks are 5:6:and 7 the tangs (legs) have to be filed to fit the lock, you can have a 5 guage pick that will only fit union/yale locks, to fit various locks you might need 5 different pick as different lock use different key heights. Be very careful when filing the tangs take too much off the pick is ruined. It is cheaper to use bike spokes rather than buying 2in1`s
