As some of you may know, Mt Kilimanjaro is the worlds highest free standing mountain, and the highest in Africa. It's also one of the worlds largest volcano's.

Anyway, geography lesson over, I will be trekking, climbing & crawling to the top in June 2011in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. It's all booked and all I have to do now is train, get a lot fitter, and train for altitude sickness, which I hope I won't need? Oh, and the most important thing....get lot's of sponsorship!

I will be posting a link from the web site to my online sponsorship (Marie Curie) so if anyone would like to sponsor me you can do so with peace of mind.

I will be doing the climb in memory of my Father who died from cancer, and dedicating the climb to him. We used Marie Curie and I can't stress enough how important their work is, not just to the terminally ill, but also to their families in what I can safely say is an awful time. Without their support my Father could not have had his wish to die peacefully at home with all his family by his side.

As I say the link will be put on the site soon, so if you can please do support me in this as every sponsor, no matter how small, will go a long way to help.

Thanks.
